"A family that plays (or hunts) together -- stays together . . . .
and is also very successful in the deer woods."

The well known New York State Adirondack Mountains' Salerno Family Team and a few of their 2005 Big Bucks.
Of the six bucks they've taken thus far this year four of them have dressed  in excess of 200
pounds. One dressed out at 235 pounds.

All of the best to a great bunch of guys who definitely hunt smarter and harder and the proof is in the pictures. The Salerno's have been very successful for many years hunting as a family team and taking some outstanding NYS bucks.

In a region that has some of the lowest deer densities in New York State -- whitetails can live to a ripe old age and get very big with very impressive headgear. It's hard work locating one of these big guys then putting a plan together to get him in the crosshairs and finally filling out the paperwork to bring him home.  But the really tough part is dragging these huge, elusive Adirondack bucks out of the deer woods and back to camp or the nearest road.
