The Gray Goose -- Route 9 North Hudson, NY

When I first started hunting the Adirondack Mountains of New York State, with family and friends, we stayed at the Gray Goose Restaurant and Bar. We stayed for the first year or two at the Gray goose. We then started to pack in and camped for nine days every year for the opening of the big game season. The cabins were to the right of the bar and it was operated by Wanda and her son Gabe. We had a lot of good times there. And Uncle Paul took a couple of nice bucks in area behind the cabins.
