Orange County New York Black Bear
There were three bears altogether. The third bear was about 35 yards to my
left bedded near a fallen tree.
I didn't see the third bear until I turned to walk away after taking the
pictures.
A young cottontail rabbit near Tenney's Pond of the
Stewart Buffer Lands in Orange County New York.
My pet Snapping Turtle -- 12 years old at
release to the wild.
She seemed like she didn't want to go. But she finally
paddled
off along the shoreline and into deeper water. She was
dropped on my doorstep in a coffee can when she was about
the size of a quarter.
